What You'll Accomplish:

- Secure federal grants and corporate partnerships for advanced quantum initiatives
Responsibilities
- Develop proprietary quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware performance metrics
- Author whitepapers and patents on quantum computational methods
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams
- Stay current with emerging quantum standards and regulatory frameworks
- Present findings to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($500k+ preferred)
- Strong background in high-performance computing environments
