Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in quantum computing grants from NSF/DoE
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulators
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum platforms
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills with numerical libraries
