Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Develop error-correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Mentor junior researchers and publish quarterly breakthrough reports
- Represent Nexus Labs at international quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms or information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and topological quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures and quantum annealing systems
- Track record of securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA, DoD)
