Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms that solve complex optimization and simulation problems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Lead quantum security protocols to protect next-generation data systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to advance qubit stability and coherence times
- Translate quantum computing capabilities into actionable business solutions
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial quantum systems development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategy
