Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-world industrial applications
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates through our Quantum Research Fellowship program
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and IP protection
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Physics with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware (superconducting/ion trap/photonic) integration
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Track record of securing research grants from NSF or DARPA
