Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary R&D teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures

- Secure $5M+ in government and private quantum research funding
- Establish industry partnerships with quantum hardware manufacturers (IBM, Google, Rigetti)
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory and experimental physics
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols for 2026 digital infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (arXiv:quant-ph)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Track record of securing government SBIR/STTR grants
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerance strategies
