Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Lead a team of 8+ quantum researchers and engineers in solving complex computational challenges
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to integrate quantum solutions into existing infrastructure
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and secure patents
- Secure $10M+ in research grants through NSF and DoE proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong programming skills in Q#, Qiskit, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary research teams
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
