Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Develop error-correction methodologies for scalable quantum systems
- Secure government and private sector research grants ($500K+ targets)
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish industry-wide quantum standards
- Interface with global tech partners (IBM, Google Quantum, Microsoft)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with 2+ team leadership

- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
