Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction techniques to enhance quantum system stability and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Conduct experimental research using quantum hardware platforms and analyze performance metrics
- Document research findings and publish in leading scientific journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Strong foundation in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Track record of published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, innovative environments
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
