Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for enterprise and research applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error correction protocols
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum supremacy applications for 2026 roadmap
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor designs
- Develop security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Present quantum computing innovations at industry conferences and investor summits
- Mentor junior engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware
- Strong background in quantum information theory and topological quantum computing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Expertise in cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
