Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for 100+ qubit processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Create security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Research emerging quantum hardware technologies (topological qubits, quantum dots)
- Document architecture blueprints and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum circuit design using Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy experiments
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
