Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols to achieve practical quantum advantage
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers in quantum system integration
- Optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ and fault-tolerant computing environments
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware and software innovations
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion qubit systems
