Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols and hybrid quantum-classical algorithms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Create quantum security frameworks for next-generation encryption systems
- Lead technical workshops on quantum advantage for C-suite executives
- Publish research in IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering or Nature Physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubit design
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Security clearance eligibility (government contract work)
- Proven track record of leading quantum R&D projects with measurable outcomes
