Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for enterprise applications in finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through NIH and DARPA proposals
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature Physics or Science
- Maintain strategic partnerships with IBM Quantum, Google AI Quantum, and IonQ
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and QASM
- Expertise in superconducting qubits, ion traps, or topological computing
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum research journals
- Proficiency in Cirq, Qiskit, or other quantum development frameworks
- Strong background in machine learning and classical-quantum interfaces
- Experience securing federal research grants and patents
