Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for quantum processors beyond NISQ limitations
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Prototype quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and material science
- Establish industry standards for quantum-safe communications protocols
- Drive intellectual property strategy with 20+ patent applications annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture with published research
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Track record of translating quantum theory to commercial applications
- Strong background in quantum cryptography and post-quantum security
