Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms leveraging NISQ-era hardware capabilities
- Design hybrid quantum-classical ML models for enterprise applications
- Lead experimental validation on quantum annealing and gate-based systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications and technical whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or quantum annealers
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complexity theory
