Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for complex system simulations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world sustainability applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for climate resilience
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Secure $5M+ in DOE/NASA grants for quantum AI initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum-computing-as-a-service platforms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq) and GPU-accelerated ML
- Published research in top-tier quantum or AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS)
- Expertise in high-performance computing (HPC) and distributed quantum systems
- Proven track record in securing federal research funding
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
