Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects integrating quantum processors with classical AI frameworks
- Develop error mitigation techniques for NISQ-era quantum neural networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum AI methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral research
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, quantum walks) and quantum machine learning
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and Python frameworks
- Published work in quantum computing or quantum information science
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and GPU acceleration
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability, and optimization
- Track record of translating theoretical research into practical implementations
