Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum AI prototypes using superconducting qubit platforms
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit architectures
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE/ACM quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure competitive research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum hardware simulators and real quantum processors
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and algorithm design
- Experience securing federal research grants preferred
