Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 team members during overnight shifts, ensuring task completion and productivity targets
- Coordinate receiving, inventory management, and shipping operations with precision
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Train and mentor new staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and warehouse procedures
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management promptly
- Conduct shift handovers with detailed documentation of activities and inventory status
- Optimize workflow efficiency through process improvements and team leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience in 24/7 operations
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment proficiency
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS experience preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
