Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations during the night shift to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent stockouts.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high performance and morale.
- Conduct nightly safety inspections and address any equipment maintenance needs immediately.
- Manage communication with the day shift team to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
- Resolve operational issues efficiently and report to the Regional Manager on shift performance metrics.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret shipping logs and inventory reports.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate a diverse team.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
