Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ person night shift team, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Monitor inventory management systems, conducting cycle counts and resolving discrepancies
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for operational continuity and handovers
- Train and develop staff on warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage documentation including shipping manifests and quality control reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift exposure
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forlift operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
