Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ night shift employees including task delegation and performance monitoring
- Ensure efficient order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and safety compliance
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and material handling equipment
- Investigate and resolve operational issues during overnight hours
- Conduct pre-shift safety briefings and equipment inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with day shift teams
- Maintain accurate shift documentation and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift background
- OSHA Forklift certification and heavy machinery operation skills
- Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for shift handovers and team leadership
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred
