Responsibilities
- Oversee all night-shift warehouse activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Manage and mentor a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Monitor inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies during night operations.
- Coordinate with day-shift management to facilitate seamless handover of operational status and inventory.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and equipment checks to prevent accidents and downtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate other heavy machinery.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
