Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and foot patrols to prevent unauthorized access
- Respond swiftly to incidents including disturbances, medical emergencies, and security breaches
- Enforce access control protocols for VIP areas and restricted zones
- Write detailed incident reports with photographic evidence and witness statements
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations
- Conduct perimeter checks and fire safety inspections every 2 hours
- Maintain communication with central dispatch and on-site management
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada Security Guard License (current and in good standing)
- Minimum 2 years security experience in commercial/hospitality settings
- Ability to obtain Nye County firearm certification within 30 days
- Proficiency in incident reporting software (e.g., GuardTrak)
- Emergency First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours in various weather conditions
- Pass federal background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
