Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous quality inspections on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production logs, inspection reports, and deviation documentation.
- Operate and troubleshoot basic QA testing equipment and machinery safely.
- Identify, document, and communicate production issues or defects to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations during night operations.
- Collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Assist in training new hires on quality control procedures and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify minor defects that others might miss.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use data entry systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
