Job Description
We are at the precipice of a new era in human evolution. As we look toward 2026, the boundary between biological intelligence and artificial processing is dissolving. Nexus Horizon Systems is seeking a visionary Neural Interface Architect to lead the next generation of Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI). You won't just be coding; you will be architecting the bridge between silicon and synapse, creating seamless, low-latency experiences that redefine what it means to interact with the digital world.
Why Join Us?
We are a remote-first collective of futurists, neuroscientists, and software engineers. We offer a competitive compensation package, equity options, and the opportunity to work on projects that will shape the next century of human-machine collaboration. If you are driven by the challenge of ethical AI integration and high-performance computing, this is your calling.
Responsibilities
- Design Neural Mapping Algorithms: Develop proprietary algorithms to translate neural signals into actionable digital commands with minimal latency.
- Hardware-Software Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize the firmware for next-generation BCI wearables.
- Ethical AI Governance: Implement strict data privacy protocols and ethical frameworks to ensure neural data remains secure and user-controlled.
- Prototype Next-Gen Interfaces: Build and test functional prototypes of non-invasive and minimally invasive neural interfaces.
- Cross-Disciplinary Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of data scientists and neurologists, fostering an environment of innovation and rigorous scientific inquiry.
- Real-time Signal Processing: Optimize Python and C++ pipelines to handle high-frequency data streams in real-time environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA; experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience: Proven track record in signal processing, electromyography (EMG), or electroencephalography (EEG) data analysis.
- Project History: Demonstrated ability to deliver complex software projects from concept to deployment in a fast-paced environment.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Language: Fluent in English (mandatory for global collaboration).
