Responsibilities
- Define and execute the architectural vision for the 2026 platform overhaul, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
- Lead the design of microservices and cloud-native solutions, optimizing for high availability and fault tolerance.
- Mentor senior engineers and junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and architectural assessments to mitigate technical debt and ensure best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, Security) to deliver high-impact features on schedule.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating emerging technologies relevant to our 2026 roadmap.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or hands-on architectural role.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale infrastructure projects and digital transformations.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (Java, Go, or Python) and relational/non-relational databases.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana), and incident response protocols.
