Responsibilities
- Architectural Vision: Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture for Project 2026, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and innovation targets.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- System Design: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data throughput.
- Roadmap Execution: Translate complex business requirements into technical roadmaps, managing the delivery of critical milestones for Project 2026.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, data scientists, and researchers to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical engineering solutions.
- Best Practices: Establish and enforce engineering standards, code quality metrics, and security protocols across the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in a lead or architectural role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Go, Rust, or Python for backend services, and proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures (AWS or GCP).
- System Design: Proven track record of designing complex, high-availability systems and handling high-concurrency environments.
- Project 2026 Specifics: Experience with real-time data processing pipelines (e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Flink) and distributed databases is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
