Responsibilities
- Design Core Architecture: Define and oversee the technical architecture for large-scale AI systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Drive R&D: Spearhead research into emerging AI technologies, including generative models and reinforcement learning.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performing engineering team, conducting code reviews and architectural planning sessions.
- Model Optimization: Continuously improve model inference speed and reduce computational costs for production environments.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product and business units to align technical roadmaps with company goals.
- Technical Governance: Establish best practices for machine learning operations (MLOps) and data pipeline management.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or architectural capacity.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP).
- System Design: Proven ability to design complex, fault-tolerant systems handling high-throughput data streams.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
