Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the end-to-end architecture for large-scale AI/ML systems, focusing on long-term scalability and reliability.
- Roadmap Strategy: Define the technical vision for the 2026 product roadmap, identifying emerging trends in generative AI and autonomous systems.
- Model Optimization: Drive the development and deployment of high-performance models, reducing latency and improving inference accuracy.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Infrastructure Management: Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement robust MLOps pipelines and ensure seamless integration with cloud environments.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear strategies for executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically in AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex system bottlenecks and devise innovative engineering solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical strategies to non-technical audiences.
