Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation strategy aligning with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale breakthrough technologies
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling proposals
- Develop patent portfolios protecting core innovations
- Mentor talent in emerging tech domains (AI ethics, neurotech, climate tech)
- Present quarterly roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record scaling technologies from lab to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field with published research
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding
- Strong network with Silicon Valley VCs and research institutions
- Fluency in agile methodologies and rapid prototyping frameworks
