Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on AI, quantum computing, biotech, and other transformative technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging tech into core business operations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state technology adoption
- Author visionary whitepapers and executive briefings on industry disruption scenarios
- Manage pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with measurable ROI analysis
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for next-gen technology deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech or business innovation forums
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning and trend analysis projects
