Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs and national innovation priorities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses of biotech, neurotech, and climate tech convergence
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and government technology councils
- Manage portfolio of 15+ emerging tech startups through our incubation program
- Author white papers published in journals like Nature Futures and IEEE Spectrum
- Coordinate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford HAI on joint research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- 10+ years in technology strategy with Fortune 500 or Big Tech leadership roles
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or technology journals
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding from DARPA, NSF, or Horizon Europe
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
