Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a 2026-focused technology strategy roadmap integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen interfaces for human-machine symbiosis
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Collaborate with policy experts to shape regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems
- Design ethical AI governance frameworks for deployment in critical infrastructure
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board of directors with data-driven forecasts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for 2026-readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AGI development, or neurotechnology
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals (2020-2023)
- Experience leading teams of 15+ engineers in agile development environments
- Certification in Futures Thinking from World Future Society or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable AI/ML deployments in regulated industries
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or C++)
