Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and synthesize actionable insights for strategic planning
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs and risk mitigation protocols
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state technology adoption
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Produce thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynote presentations) positioning Innovatech as a future-shaping authority
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory impacts on technology deployment and adapt strategies accordingly
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in futures methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in foresight analysis or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., quantum AI, neurotech)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience translating complex trends into business impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-shaping initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
