Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026-focused strategic roadmaps using horizon scanning, predictive modeling, and scenario analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate future insights into actionable business strategies
- Author annual "Future State" reports disseminated to 1,000+ industry stakeholders and policymakers
- Establish and maintain relationships with academic institutions and R&D labs for trend validation
- Oversee the development of proprietary foresight frameworks and predictive algorithms
- Mentor a team of 5 futurist analysts while maintaining hands-on research duties
- Present findings at industry summits and publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 10+ years of experience
- Proven track record developing and executing long-term strategic plans for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in AI-driven predictive analytics, biotechnology forecasting, or quantum computing trends
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences and international forums
- Published author in foresight or strategy publications with minimum 3 peer-reviewed articles
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies including Delphi technique, cross-impact matrices, and causal layered analysis
- Experience managing high-budget research initiatives ($500k+ annually)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or equivalent professional designation
