Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-2030 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Produce quarterly 'Future State' reports for executive board and investor committees
- Design innovation pipelines for AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and climate tech
- Partner with R&D to commercialize 5+ breakthrough technologies by 2026
- Represent company at global futurist forums (Davos, World Economic Summit)
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist research
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with 90%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AGI, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership in top-tier futurist journals (e.g., Future Studies, Technological Forecasting)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 10-year transformation
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex scenarios into executive action plans
