Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate adaptation
- Produce quarterly 'Future State Briefings' for executive leadership with data-driven risk/opportunity assessments
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with 5-year business objectives
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish global network of futurist think-tanks and academic collaborators
- Present strategic vision to investors, board members, and industry forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning with proven 2020+ horizon success
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or societal transformation trends
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex adaptive systems
- Experience facilitating executive-level scenario planning workshops
- Certification in futures research methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term strategic implementations
