Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks, identifying emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive stakeholders, translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Produce high-impact trend reports and white papers on topics like AI ethics, climate resilience, and human augmentation
- Champion innovation initiatives that bridge futuristic concepts with current product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and global futurist networks
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and critical thinking techniques
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and senior leadership with compelling narrative visualization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation leadership with demonstrated impact on long-term planning
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related quantitative field
- Expertise in trend analysis, horizon scanning, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executive narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic planning (articles, white papers, books)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity and change management
- Portfolio of successful strategic initiatives launched 3-5 years ahead of market adoption
