Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, climate adaptation) to map 3-5 year strategic pathways
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies including quantum computing and brain-computer interfaces
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational priorities with future market demands
- Create innovation roadmaps for sustainable resource management and circular economy implementation
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for horizon scanning
- Develop metrics to track emerging technology adoption and societal impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech startup
- Published research on emerging technology adoption patterns or societal forecasting
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., SAMI, Decision Explorer) and data visualization
- Demonstrated experience translating complex futures into executable business strategies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
