Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Innovation Framework with quantified impact models
- Facilitate executive workshops on exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Author thought leadership publications and patented foresight methodologies
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Manage a global network of futurist researchers and academic collaborators
- Present strategic briefings to board members and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of modeling complex future scenarios (e.g., climate tech, AI ethics)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant STEM field
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, synthetic biology, or quantum computing
- Published work in recognized futurist publications (e.g., Futures, Technological Forecasting)
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., SFU, Millenium Project)
- Experience leading cross-continental teams with diverse cultural perspectives
