Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business models
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for innovation adoption across product, service, and operational domains
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and strategic priorities
- Produce actionable foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs to accelerate foresight capabilities
- Advose leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in AI, biotech, sustainability, and digital transformation
- Champion a culture of innovation by embedding future-thinking into organizational DNA
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to translate complex insights into executable strategies
- Track record of launching successful future-oriented initiatives with measurable ROI
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) highly desirable
