Responsibilities
- Analyze global trends in AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and quantum computing to map 3-5 year strategic pathways
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for business continuity and competitive advantage in 2026+ markets
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from R&D, marketing, and product teams
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies
- Establish KPIs for innovation pipeline maturity and track adoption of emerging technologies
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and evaluate frontier technology investments
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
- Track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-oriented research or thought leadership
