Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market disruption goals
- Architect future scenarios and strategic frameworks for quantum AI integration and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Champion cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and boards to inform high-stakes decision-making
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers to accelerate innovation pipelines
- Mentor innovation teams in applying futurist methodologies to product development and market strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercialized innovations or market disruptions
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile innovation environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Certification in Futures Research Methodology or equivalent preferred
