Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to forecast 5-10 year industry disruptions
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Partner with R&D to incubate next-generation technologies with commercial viability
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build and lead a cross-functional futurist team of researchers and strategists
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
- Integrate foresight methodologies into corporate planning cycles
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or corporate foresight role
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published author or speaker at global innovation forums
