Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead high-stakes strategic workshops with stakeholders to align on future-facing initiatives
- Identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, AI ethics) and assess market readiness
- Design scalable frameworks for organizational adaptation to disruptive change
- Present compelling future-vision narratives to executive boards and investor groups
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions with 5-year commercialization pipelines
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global foresight intelligence network
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent professional designation
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing C-level audiences
