Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation roadmaps with future market demands
- Design and facilitate scenario planning workshops for cross-functional stakeholders
- Produce trend analysis reports with actionable recommendations for product and market strategy
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across organizational decision-making processes
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy and product roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior executives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex strategic initiatives
