Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate resilience, space economy) for strategic opportunities
- Lead innovation sprints with C-suite executives to translate foresight into business strategy
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Design and implement foresight frameworks across product lifecycle management
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging methodologies like predictive analytics and trend synthesis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published research on exponential technologies or systemic change
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience with cross-cultural futurism and global megatrend analysis
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
