Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological and societal shifts through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Author white papers and thought leadership on emerging tech implications
- Advise executive team on strategic pivots and market entry opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Quantify future ROI through predictive modeling and risk assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting market disruptions (portfolio required)
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published author in foresight or innovation journals (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
